That's the problem with the author. Once you attach a name to something whether it's a cat, dog or I guess a kid or people in general. It creates an emotional attachment depending on your involvement with them. Yeah I knew that about those games and when switching over to the X1 input the info just comes up as Xone/ UHD HDMI 1080/60P, where as on the PS4 it shows no info whatsoever.

I have a 55" 4K HDR Samsung 7 Series and yes, there is a noticeable difference as I stated " without even having an HDR update " because before that I had a 6 Series 48" 4K UHD Samsung that did have not have HDR and the game just looked the same as it does on the X1 ( I also own Destiny for that console ) and it's a night and day difference for me.
The only reason I said that is because these articles appear at least once a month and have been since the X1 was originally announced. It's old hat and nothing but bait as usual to get everyone all fired up.

I was never really a fan of Destiny but after turning on the HDR setting on the PS4 I decided to reinstall it and I gotta admit; that game looks pretty sick even if there isn't and HDR update out for it. The lighting effects and colors are completely insane and The Last Of Us looks simply astonishing for being a remaster and without the update yet. It almost fucks with my eyes that's how much difference there is with HDR enabled.

I was on the X1 store and they the 20th Anniversary edition for $39.99 but it seems like it doesnf come with added stuff or does it? I really didn't pay attention, only saw the price.
The price points on some of these games are really good but has anyone played Here They Lie? Looks decent but I really don't want too dump $400 just for one game.
Also from some of the videos I've seen I'm not really a fan of the move sticks and floating guns. I don't know? May just pass on VR altogether for the time being.

I'd like to buy this but my problem is that I already own all 3 plus the dlc for both 360 and PS3. They're good games, it's just I can't really justify spending $60 for it but if I've never played them and just bought either console then yeah I guess it's a decent price? $39.99 would've been more feasible and will they add HDR support?
I didn't even watch the whole prologue. I got maybe 5 minutes into it and shut it off because I'd rather just play the game not knowing anything this time around.

This is good and all but for me it's still not a great selling point and making me want to run out and buy one. The reason for that is and I'm not a technical engineer but how is it that Sony can add an HDR update to the regular PS4 which will tide me over until I decide to buy the Pro, but why can't MS do the same thing for the X1? Did Sony already have it in their system and just added some code and presto?
