I never understand why, at this day and age, people are so likely to "juge a game by it's graphics" I've seen pixel games out-perform 4K 3d juggernauts before and I'm sure I will again. The art style of this game is what initially attracted me to it and only adds to the awesomely creepy vibe of the plot in my opinion.
It is saddening that, at least on Twitch, its popularity was very brief. While it's a short game it should NOT be underestimated because it is indeed the epitome of mind-blowing!
Good call on that one, but I'm not upset at having the season pass now and waiting it out. I just think at this point the devs should have enough faith in their fan-base to not have to rely on checp gimmicky cliff hangers to "keep em coming."
Hard to really judge if a telltale series (especially a mini one) is going to be worth the all-in until it's released as a whole and you can digest the ending as well.
Happy sort of close-ish birthday to you I guess haha. But yeah that's great news, it definitely brought the quality to a whole new level with this one. A lot of people were disappointed with the Wii version from what I can tell, but this one has had basically no complaints yet, across the board.
Have you played this new version, or you just remember it as a kid? Have a favorite boss/ability?
If it could hold up so well against the test of time and the battering of the cross-platform madness, I think there's gotta be something worth looking into. It really gives a good amount of bang for its buck and it'll tug on your heart strings just like UnderTale! Happy to help.
I really think it will, talking to some people who played the original on the NES and had to keep a pen and paper handy to remember which colored beans did what powers, this is really a HUGE improvement that I think everyone can enjoy and really just appreciate.
I don't know how this game hasn't been blowing up in more places, it must not have gotten the love it deserved on other platforms because it was truly a work of art this time around!
Saddened by the news that I've seen in a couple places, that this game just bit off a bit more than it could chew. Besides that though, it looks stunning graphically. Glad to see it wasn't so heavily boob-centric this time around.
I'm actually surprised at how refreshingly original and easily fun this game seems to be, great review!
Fantastic editing job on this one, we need to get an application going for our MLG/PLG partnership merger!
If they really want it to be a long time favorite, and have any chance at some replayability, they really need to address these issues, because as it stands --especially trying to play online. It's saddening that it's still so clunky after such a long time in "early access."
I'm still shocked to find out they're actually making an Assassin's Creed live action movie that's coming out soon.
Only having talked to close personal friends, who're huge fans of the console. I was quite surprised to find out the fact that it's considered a success is a controversy in any way.
The "coolest" pun made this an instant classic!
Hell of a game and high scoring too some of those match ups can be quite intense and you held up with aplomb sir.
I've even seen almost sort of theme park styled concept applications for VR where you have a whole sort of arena obstacle course with an entire background to interact with so you get the real immersive feeling of opening doors, climbing, holding weapons, etc.
I couldn't agree more, the only problem is when you've spent all your spare savings into having a nice upgraded PC. It's pretty hard for your average person to just sum up anot her spare $600.
Honestly this looks like everything I desperately wanted Ark to turn into during its earlier alpha stages. Has some huge potential for sure.
