if you look at the small picture ms just bribed everyone in the audience with a free xbox to get positive reviews after a horrible conference. If you look at the big picture it was to get people to buy the kinect with their new xbox so that they would pressure their friends already on their 5th xbox to get a new xbox so they have enough gb to actually use and run kinect.
if your a gamer and said that "kinect looks damn good" or "im impressed with kinect" then your living a lie. that conference was laughable and will be easily beaten by everyone else

kinect will do great at the start it when people have it for a while theyll decide not to buy software for it. also kinect has not shown a 3d game its all 2d.
