Here's the dillema the depth that we percieve from a 3d image on a 2d screen is an optical illusion thats why we need glasses and a dual image.. Each lense in the glasses filters certain colors in the image so each eye recieves a slightly altered image thus giving a "sense" of depth.. No they are showing you the images in small scale to hide the lack of AA.. Finally a nintendo handheld that pushes polygons but can't do post processing to clean up the image.. I found a blown up image of resident evil on the 3ds and the aa was pretty bad..

NO NO NO NO the system is no rendering two images.. There is a filter in between the screen and the plastic cover that directs parts of the image at each eye thats where the 3d effect comes from... God these people that make all of these assumptions and think they are right....
Umm am I missing something that you arent because if I'm not mistaken the only console manufacture to dethrone nintendo was sony and they did so two generations running... Sega made a great console in the dreamcast but best? Lets be a little more realistic... I actually learned that the hard coat that is on blu-ray discs was initially created for dvds but because of the way dvds are coded the laser can't read past a couple of layers easily so they cant use the coating without sacrificing storage... So yea in a way thank god for blu-ray lol..

Every new tech is unproven and 3d has been around for decades.. Hell everyone is foaming at the mouth over the 3ds and how uber cool it is but sony is trying to push it and its suddenly bad? Well for starters I can access the internet, download music, videos, it has a gps, music id, bluetooth, wifi, I have a super nintendo emulator, can take pictures of my paychecks and have them direct deposited into my bank account etc... I had a 64 emulator on my phone for a while but it was eating up my ram so I removed it.. But I was loving ocarina of time and majoras mask... There's a ps1 and ps2 emulator available I just havent put them on my phone yet.. Honestly I'd take my iphone...

From what I've learned of blu-ray imagine as though a blu-ray is a filling cabinet.. Ok you have a standard filling cabinet(dvd9) and a custom filling cabinet(blu-ray) Ok the standard filling cabinet you open up the top drawer and it comes out like two feet.. Thats a finite amount of space so you have to optimize how you store data.. Usually this means you have to combine data and sub divide each folder.. Seeing how this can get complicated and confusing most offices opt for multiple fill...
