People who want it ported to the Next Gen consoles need to remember the lousy port-job they did last time, and that as such there'd probably be very little improvements.
However if it was a download-only title [on those consoles] that simply boosted the framerate to 60FPS across the board, then they'd be onto something.

I'm worried about it being open-world, the first game had so many good moments because the level-design was set up for linear play.
As long as it plays out like Super Metroid/Dark Souls in that you have to unlock a certain area or require a certain ability to traverse it, I think it'll be fine.
The whole game sucked ass, but that fight was probably the most interesting facet of it.
Still, placing that fight over Vergil Fight #3?
