This man is secure enough to admit his prediction was wrong, yet Switch was #1 best selling in the USA for 2018. So the vultures are out trying to grab anything negative they can about Switch's unstoppable success. Some are still so blind to the fact it's not hard to surpass PS4 numbers. LMAO, where do I start? PlayStation is about to easily get surpassed in Japan after being on the market since friggin' early 2014 there. Switch is outpacing PS4 in most regions. All Switch needs is a few years to reach PS4 numbers and maybe even surpass them. I wouldn't count out Nintendo doing that!
NPD released that in the USA, 70% of Switch owners either own a PS4 or Xbox One. DA KIDS, DA KIDS...lol

I expect around 1 Million software units sold the first week (including digital) for Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch. New Leaf sold 800,000 software units week one (including digital) on 3DS. Then Pokemon is going to obliterate. Switch will top its own holiday hardware sales from last year in Japan.

The Nintendo Switch is ahead of the DS. That is all I ever need to hear. The DS is Nintendo's greatest success with over 154 million sold. Switch just got real...lol
It was a decent and memorable moment in gaming history....in Nintendo history...hopefully other developers will pull a "Metroid Prime 4 Update: Re-boot" about games in the future if the development is sub par. I wish the outcome of this is super high quality for the Metroid franchise. No pressure Retro....but kinda.....haha.

Well if that is true, then Retro will essentially rescue Star Fox and now Metroid...lol. Many don't know (or say enough) that Retro co-developed Mario Kart 7 with Nintendo EAD 50/50. Yes, their name is sitting right there on Wikipedia. The ones that do know speculated the extent of their involvement but Nintendo cleared it up and said they had heavy involvement. You know Retro probably has been discussing what they would do with Metroid Prime 4 in side conversations since Prime 3 over the years. Like "oooh what about this?... "wouldn't this be cool". I bet they sort of know what direction they are headed in. I'm just glad it's them. No new game studio logo's on the Prime series guys and gals...Retro it is. :)

In terms of sales, 2019 looks to be even bigger. 2017 will be hard to beat critically as those games received the highest scores and won countless GOTY awards. But as a Nintendo fan, I am just as excited if not more excited for 2019 as 2017 and that is why this article is spot on.
