They actually look great next to each other. Most complimentary in a long time from two different console makers.
This is great news. News like this makes me wonder not only what other 3rd party games are coming, but what Switch is capable of the more developers get familiar with it. Nintendo's 2018, 2019, etc. line up just might be even more outstanding than 2017. The hardware is showing way more promise than most predicted.

Doom and Wolfenstein II are not "last gen versions or last gen games" so please stop being a broken record. That argument worked in the Wii era when it obviously couldn't run games like Bioshock or Wii U which can't run a game like Doom (2016). But Switch just changed all that "only can play last gen games and ports" situation. So please. lol

With Doom the victory isn't bragging that it is a port...it's the fact Doom is a CURRENT generation game. Wii U couldn't run Doom. That is the victory. Many thought Nintendo Switch wouldn't play a game like Doom 2016.
Something like L.A. Noire comes out the same day as PS4 (which I own as well). I feel like it's going to sell a lot this holiday on Switch. Look at the NPD Top 10.....look at all the Switch games still selling since earlier this year. What's going on this generation isn't like previous Nintendo generations. Grand Theft Auto made it's way to the DS so it has more to do with Rockstar's prerogative than Nintendo's. There is already a lot of Switch games to buy this holiday. You can't fix this third party issue overnight, so stop trying to jump the gun. If you can't understand why this article was made then wow. I'll be supporting L.A. On third party support increasing: It's surreal but awesome at the same time. Nintendo fans buy games. Let me rephrase that: Nintendo fans buy quality games (ported or exclusive)....whether by Nintendo or third party. We know it's going to look even better in person running on your Switch screen. We will see marginal differences based on the quality of the videos submitted on the internet. I'm just glad Switch is obviously easy to port to.
