gears doesn't have classes, it's just good teamwork when you designate who is going to push and who is going to stay back and support.
drones, how does it feel to have a shitty network like PSN that only works 11 months of the year?
the flying and mechs look cool but Gears3 has the best gunplay easy, including uncharted. the skill involved in sniping, wallbouncing, and teamwork outclass those game by far.
unlike StarOcean4 this game doesn't make you swap discs if you want to go back to a previous area, it's linear, you only have to put two extra discs in for the 30+ hours of the game. I guarantee that 5min install will take longer than walking up to your box and popping another disc in twice.
it really is the dumbest argument ps3fanoys have. don't you have to get up and swap discs when you play multiple games on your ps3 or do you keep that one game in your system...
You have retailers such as GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and whoever else that you want to keep happy. Yeah they are a middleman but nationial chains like that provide some much needed muscle to sell products. Start cutting into their profits and they are going to start ordering less units and giving you less shelf space for games and consoles. If they get wind that Microsoft is switching over to digitial downloads maybe they will see if Sony will cut them a deal so that their chain exclusivel...
I find it funny the the ps3 fanboys think a FFVII remake will magically make things all better in SquareEnix land. face it, the gaming world has changed, it's not the ps1 days anymore.
and the fact that you said "on PS3 as an exclusive" just reaffirms that you don't care about the game as much as having another exclusive for bragging rights.
I already played FFVII enough times. I would rather have a new story to play through.

rumblings over at neogaf suggest that a few games have been cancelled. seeing as those two aren't even listed anymore it doesn't look good for Versus. 6 years in development wow.... these japanese developers spend way too much time and money on games that hardly make a profit.
someone above said it started as a PS2 game. shit, it's close to skipping the entire ps3 generation. I wouldn't be surprised if Versus is pushed to next gen on the 720/ps4

that's bullshit. why do people that haven't bought a ps3 yet get a break on console price while the ones who already invested in the ps3 get nothing. if they want to make it up to us give your loyal fans a break on game prices or DLC.
