No offence gamesmaster, but that tear is getting a little dry no? Square have decided on this more linear approach to the Final Fantasy games since FFX now, almost 9 years ago now.
you want freedom? Play FF14 or any major MMO imho.
its only sad if you don`t have money.
My satisfaction is knowing that maybe .5% of the gaming mnarket actually give a f*ck, the rest of us play games.
well, whats more important? the fact thats its really really good? or the fact that its lacking? All I see is really really good.
It`s like sex, its really really good, but sometimes its lacking, however the bottom line is that its sex. amirite?
Udidntlistenpunk , I played both versions on the same monitor and trust me, the differences are minimal no matter how much the ps3 fan people will try to spin it.
fact of the matter is, xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be able to enjoy a great jrpg. the rest is not important to 99.5% of the worlds gamers. get it?
If you Review a new Final Fantasy game and always compare it to your first Final Fantasy experiences you embark on a long and sad road of deception. I would try as much as possible to approach it like a brand new game everytime, infact, that`s the main idea behind final fantasy games in general.
That being said, this game seems to be getting clean reviews up until now from people who just see it as a AAA game, wich it is, and not as just a second rate Final Fantasy game, which,...

(funny how trolls can change the subject so quickly when they cant argue the facts presented. )
Well, since you are in Quebec I sent you a PM on where you can find me in Montreal and I will gladly discuss this subject with you face to face if you wish. I presented to you facts which you ingored. This is not important, and no one at square has ever said that content was cut due to the storage space problems DvD9s clearly have.
If you where correct rroded, we would have a 30hour + campaign spanning accross 10 countries in Uncharted 2, all in the glory of 1080p, zero draw-ins and at a steady 60fps. And lets face it, this Liniar final fantasy crap has been going on since FFX, what was the problem back then? cutting edge DvD storage, or Square?
You are letting your imagine go wild here...for nothing frankly, game content gets cut all the time. This should not be news for an avid gamer. then again, you ar...
So what you are suggesting is that if Infamous was on the 360 also, it would only be 5 hours long? The Ps3 truly is the rich man`s 360.
btw, square is known for cutting content in their games, this dates back to the snes days. Your link is nothing more the (enthusiast) popcorn. also, with DLC we should be seeing those areas.
Well, one thing is clear here, the PS3 version is the superior version, day 1 on the PS3 for me thank you!
I can deal with PS3 exclussives almost all being in 720p, this is not very important since at the very least it will be upscaled to 1080p. And I was taught a very important lesson by many PS3 fans here when refering to PS3 games being at 720p, which is, as long as the game is good, who cares. amirite?
btw, FF13 day one on the PS3 for me!
Actually its to bad Star trek online is such a broken un finished mess.
you almost got it.
Blizzard is owned by Vivendi, Activision is owned by Vivendi, both Activision and Vivendi games who where owner of Blizzard, where merged in 2007 by Vivendi to form Activision Blizzard. They are both subsidiaries of Activision Blizzard who is owned by Vivendi.
sorry, I just did not like seing someone say that Blizzard was owned by Vivendi/activision when in truth both Activision and Blizzard are owned by Vivendi and they are both seperate Sub...
yeah, we where all caught by surprise, we sold out day one. I am starting to think it truly is a game changer. As in, once again, people will care about graphic adventures. And hat could be huge.
I can't wait to play this game, looks amazing.
my 60gb launch PS3 will cost me a 200$ flat rate to repair. not fun.
It's not the amount of coloring crayons that you have, its what you draw with them that counts.
I wonder if they will also report on the rising yellow lights of deaths.
