bottom line is, competition is looking to be fierce this holiday season, and when the big console makers are fighting for our dollars, we all win with great products, and from the looks of it, Nintendo, MS and Sony have great products.

Well, think about it this way then. CoD could go free to play. Yiu get basic map pack and online play with the new disc. And, if you pay a monthly fee, you get the maps.

You don`t need to time travel Digital Analog, just look at the progress from the last 20 years and it gives you a good idea of where we are going.

Secondly, the disc format as a whole is history in the next few years. It will go the way of the vinyl, sure, people will still want some, but it will become a small market. Get with the program folks. This is not a MS vs Sony comment, this is just fact, not everything is about you big monsters (console makers) fighting in the skies kids. ;)

I think the more important question is how many games actually need the 50gb. Don`t get me wrong, many games use is for better quality videos and soundfiles and I like that, however I don`t see many games actually needing that much space to be more innovative and good. One of the best games this Gen is Uncharted 2 and that took a full 25gb disc and was a an amazing 10-12 hour experience, what would 100gb let us do? A longer 46-48 hour experience? I guess that does sound cool, lol

kinda like the 1200pts is the new 800pts on live. boo! to be fair, the games I have spent 15-25 dollars on Live and PSN were worth every penny though.
