I like them both, I think they both add there own little spice to the motion censor part of gaming. With that said though, I think the Sony demo was a lot cooler, even though it was very tech demo'ish. O we have a new MEME? oh yes we o folks!

Looking back at it, I think chrono Cross was one of the better PS1 RPGs, at the time I was also a tad disappointed but it was a very good game, Chrono Trigger was such a pinnacle game on the SNES for so many people I don't think anything could of topped it.
People have to accept change, I hate this attitude of the so called "purists" that think a game should always play like it did there first time playing it, it's like the crack head saying I want that same high I git...

That's the problem though, they have never sold that well outside of japan, I don't even think the DS an SneS version broke the 400k each mark in NA.
The first real follow up, Chrono Cross sold 50% less then the SNES game. At the end of the day they it was not a big commercial hit and I don't think Square is interested in a franchise that was a commercial failure when they did infact poor their heart an wallets out for Chrono Cross fans, and it didn't even break the million mark...
The reason final Fantasy exist is because of the money, and there was not a care free time where square was doing games just for the people. Get that fairy tale make belief time out of your head. Square was going to close if FF1 did not sell well, they would not of continued and kept on making games if they did not sell, cause the fans wanted them. and yes, I do play the Uncharted 2 beta, its a great looking game.
I am sorry ju, but Insomiac has stated that the new ratchet and clank game is infact a 4th generation game for them.
If you are expecting leaps and bounds over what we are seeing exclusives PS3 games doing right now, I am sorry but you will be disappointed. I do expect Devs doing great things with the PS3, but we have pretty much seen what that great system can do.

You know what's Ironic, that gameplay > graphics argument stood strong with the PS2. I agreed with it then, and I still agree with it now. Even though I still think they're are great games to be played on all current gen consoles.

If it worked that way and this imaginary power were to get squeezed out of the PS3 like a lot of you think, we would have games like Infamous in full 1080p and zero draw-in. Killzone 2 would be at a solid 60fps and running in native 1080p. And MGs4 would never have any frame dips, and be playing at a locked 60fps.

I don't agree, I think that if they are showing off their game to the press at a show like E3, they have all the right to be c*cky, as long as they can back some of it up. That's what these kinds of shows are all about. I would never hold that against any dev showing off their latest project. Expecially not PD, since gran tursimo has always been been the king of c*cky, it has "the Real driving simulator" in its title. And that's fine by me.
they don't both look the same, but they are both great games. That's the message I am trying to push here, but conflict is what turns on most anonymous N4G. you guys can count pixels all you want, but if you where all true gamers, you would be just happy that you have choice an both games have there advantages and dissadvantages. Turn 10 are cleary working their asses of to make a good racing sim for the 360, and so are PD for the PS3.

Don't get me wrong, I fully agree that Gran Turismo is the top of the food chain when it comes to console racing sims. I have purchased every Gran Turismo game since the first one.
However, to think that a game is good simply because it does not reach this technical benchmark (1080p 60fps) is a flawed way of looking at what makes a good game or not. Bottom line is, if you are a racing game fan, and are not limited to 1 console, games like Forza 3 and Shift are looking to be great...
