People are right, the release date was never announced, they have just been talking about it since GT4, almost 5 years ago. They are masters of never delaying a game, yet talking about it for ever.

you are right, PD and Sony have mastered the art of not having a release date, yet talking about a game for years. They took that page right out of Blizzard, what I like about this (when its done) dev PR tactic is that when they do announce a date, it in a few months.
