I love the game, its a must buy and I cant wait for it to come out. However this is the upgrade I was expecting, pretty much an Uncharted 1.5 when it comes to graphics. It aint Nathan Drake leaps and bounds ahead of uncharted 1 in the graphics department, thats for sure. Everything else, multiplayer, machinima, story and action is though. Truly one of the greatest games this gen.
GT2 says hello. 650 cars, 27 tracks and all the Tuning and light modding and mags you dream of. It plays fine on my PSP and is 10 years old. I think its perfectly fair to compare gran turismo portable to the full gran turismo experience and expect nothing less in a new portable gran tursimo made my PD.
For me the Go is a, umm, a no go. My 2 3000s are all I need, this is just a waste of money inho.
Well concidering the main course is nothing but ice cream and waffles, this will do just fine for now.
You know what, I got the game and I really really really like it. Its just that I find it a little sad that I get more depth in my GT2 psp port, imagine a portable GT2 that looks like GT portable...I would be in heaven, and I guess that is what I was expecting. For me the lack of the tried and true GT experience, tweaking, modding, grinding, is a big let down. Don't get me wrong, its a great game, just a little dissapointed after waiting all these years to get GT on a handheld.
Once again, a game that (You know who you are) hate is hotter then a tripple death spicy taco. GJ you fail again.
Fact : Forza 3 will be an amazing console racing sim in the vain of the classic and amazing franchise of Gran Turismo, a game we cant have on the 360, and, I will be playing it in a month.
Fact: Gran Turismo 5 will be yet another classic racing sim be the masters of the genre PD, and will only be on the PS3, and I will be playing it in March of 2010....

I hear ya Green, the crappy thing about online racing is that unless you play with people you know, its a stupid slam fast. Gri is a great example, the start of any race in grid is pure chaos.

So guys, with all these great shot, what conclusion have we come to? Thats right! We have many amazing racers and we are living in a great time...
Shift had my attention for months, unlike many people here. Just the mention of NFS here before it got all the great reviews had many people reminding us how it will suck and that GT5 or Forza will be better, you know, typical N4G useless banter.
I was not surprised by how good it was. However, with that said, I still think that Forza 3 will offer much more in modding and customization. It will be a much deeper experience, I like NFS shift and all, but it is a little shallow.
Yeah, I am sure the Turn 10 guys are banging their heads on their desks right now. I mean forza 3 looks horrible, they should be ashamed! If I where them I would shut down the studio, have name changes and move out of the country cause I would have been so, so, stupid for saying that the product I worked so hard on was amazing, I mean seriously, why would I want to pimp out me product like that. They should of just said is was average....

For 20 years Sony has been on a acquisition/merger blitz. CBS records and Columbia pictures are 2 easy examples, but there are many more. I am not saying thats wrong by any stretch, just saying that Sony is as much a soulless corporation as Microsoft is. I find it funny how your typical N4G regular will actually think either of them actually care for them. And knowing how outspoken Reznor has always been against the music industry as a whole, it is easy to see why he would chose MS over sony....

btw, I like it when a dev says crazy things, it helps them to push for a better product, look at Guerilla. I believe Killzone 2 is what it is because they set their benchmark so high, they even admited. I expect Forza 3 to be a great game because Turn 10 tried their best to reach their crazy...
I agree, its pretty hard to top greatness, and Uncharted one was exactly that. As a complete package though, Uncharted 2 is insanly better then Uncharted 1. Naughty dog are easily one of the best devs around and show that they got the PS3 tech down to an art.
