The music...should be topnotch but we have not heard anything about it yet. And FF12s music and soundtrack werent exactly memorable like previous Fantasies. Which leads one to wonder whether SE has lost its touch or not.
The story...so far still nothing. Again, FF12s story began very good but ended miserable. FF13s settings do not help their case. Set in a sort of futuristic world again, it just screams failure. Why cant they just go back to the dark medieval theme.

Thats because if you cant announce it in the Q1, its becomes impossible to release the games in the last quarter of the year due to logistics and publicity reasons.
Thats why Gears 2 was announced last year at GDC and thats why Modern warfare is announced this year.
