As FPSs gain more popularity, companies will start do things that are "crazy" to get media attention. Even though, like Game-ur said "Why is it any different than Russians killing American solders?".
Which basically sums up why I like science-fictional shooters more. Regardless of the characters only be avatars, it`s a sick concept to base games like that off of reality and could be looked at as conditioning when brought to the wrong type of mind. Games/...

Understatement. It`s GT/GT5P have ruined other racers for me. They all feel to floatly and GT5P/GT5 look......real.
Why new IPs don`t release in the summer is beyond me.
Nintendo has and probably always will run the handheld market w/ children especially.
Sony stop f**kin around scrap this one, make the PSP2 w/ 2 analog stick and start porting all the PS2 games over to it. PS2 portable.

and they won`t be the last. I saw the other day new Virtua Tennis game is a PS3/Move exclusive. Which doesn`t seem like the biggest deal, but it says alot. At this point when a company chooses to go exclusive they believe in your future. Especially a game like that.
I own a 360 and enjoy it. But, I miss the days of Sony, Nintendo and Sega. MS brought a very foul business mindstate to the gaming industry which will never be reversed. If they continue on in console manufacturing they should build their 1st party studios instead of stealing exclusives ,buying timed games, exclusive DLC and stop charging for people to use their existing internet connection. The funny thing is Halo literally got them through last gen and they still didn`t learn the value of 1...

They need to start dumping $$$ into their 1st party, IMO. Halo already has a legion of dedicated followers.
For me nothing even come close to LBP2 and GT5. But I`ll be picking up FO:NV, DR2, Portal2 and the PS Move aswell. I`ll try out GeoW3 if it`s more like GeoW1 than GeoW2. Killzone 3, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 after Xmas and I might try to get a 3D tv sometime soon as well. Gaming.......I love and hate you.
