that class combat is based off CAPCOM'S original Devil May Cry, its just basically redone with a tad better animations.

Even i have had doubts since the beginning regarding the game being tedious due to the open world/missions. The story itself NOT being as interesting isn't a surprise also, it seems konami put most of the effort/time in those hardware/graphical/technical aspects...bloaded with features/missions, etc.
They should have kept it a linear experience...

While its nice to have these games remastered, it also shows the lack of creativity on Capcoms part, they just can't make a good modern day survival horror and have to rely on old classics. It's one of their TOP franchises....Start taking it seriously Capcom or turn the franchise over to another company.
you could get into fc2 single player, yet couldn't do 3?..far cry 2's campaign was a bore-fest...FACT!
Is Unreal Engine 4 suppose to look this.....bad? its looks like a last gen game. Tho it being a an indy game?...low budget, could explain it.
gap between last gen and this gen..concerning hardware is big....and big enough, don't day dream about insanely powerful hardware, one has to be realistic and keep COST in mind when talking about consoles.
