I almost expect MS to have a strong lineup for their next console, to cash in on their least targeted consumer demographic: The dedicated gamers.
Of course, only to turn their back on them after they have their money to play it safe and go all casual/shooter/timed exclusivity again.
Yes, I'm bitter.
Fool me once... and so on.
I'm curious. What happened back then?
I always assumed they just went with Nintendo because that way, they could cash in on the large fanbase, while keeping the development costs as close to the PS2 era as possible.
I was ready to be blown away watching Nintedos conference. (Miles and miles away from the actual location via internet stream, but still...!)
Nintendo not having an actual conference this year, takes quite a chuck out of the fun I could have had with E3 this year.
I wanted to see the next Zelda, 3D Mario, Bayonetta 2 and some BIG reveals on stage, being awed and surprised, the very same moment everyone else is.
Of course, I will get a Wii U o...
Hmm... I don't know about this. I really am looking forward to the PS4 and most of all the games, but the DS4 leaves me skeptical, probably because I really like the DS3.
I don't get the whole touchpad-thing ON the controller anyways. Whith the Vita, they already have the perfect input device for all things touch-related. The DS4 touchpad will most likely feel inferior to it, without the screensize and the visual feedback the Vita can provide.
I'd...
Tbh, I'm not too keen on the pc version myself or pc gaming in general. I most likely would've said the same thing back then, about the pc petition, because it's esentially the same thing.
Like a game? Get the system to play it. Simple.
These days, it often seems that people care more
about their system than the games it or others have to offer and therefore demand equality.
E X C L U S I V E S!
... and more varied ones, while we're at it.
(Kinectshit and bought exclusives do not count)
Seriously, that's all I need.
This is silly. Really. Want to play the game?
Get a Xbox 360 or a PS3. I'd recommend the latter
to enjoy the whole "Souls-Series".
All the Vita needs to sell well in Japan is one exclusive Monster Hunter title. Even a beefed up MH4 with additional content should do the trick.
Saying something is childish, because of the way it LOOKS is downright ignorant and does not make one any more mature. (Frankly, quite the opposite)
I won't support anything that bends to this "ideology". EVER.
Wow. Since he's you know... VP for marketing and PR, you'd think he knows how to handle the crowd and answer questions properly, since it's...well, you know... his job..
People never asked for his opinion on DLC. They wanted clarification.
Unfortunately, it looks like Bethesda won't give us any.. and worst of all: get away with it.
I really, really want to play Dishonored, and I know Bethesda is only publishing it, but I'm very muc...
Now that you mention it. I can't help but agree.
Damn, I miss the DC. :(
You guys should read this one too..

..and then get really mad! :(
I'm pissed. I really, really am. Price pretty much confirmed, that everything I was worried about is in fact true.
I hate to jump on that bandwagon, but that interview read awfully similar to the Dead Space 3 ones..
"EA is soo good to us! So much freedom! - Gamers will love it! They just don't know, yet! The change is for the better, it feels soo unique and fresh now! We're still true to ourselves!"
A 4-Player Co-op Stea...
Allright. The fighting part looks awesome, as always.
BUT the cutscenes were pretty bad. Facial expressions? Pretty much non-existent. I also hope that there will be an option for the japanese voices.
Yet, I think I read somewhere, that they wanted to handle it like the Yakuza games with everybody using their native language. Hope I'm wrong tho...
Nope he's not. He's in fact putting a bandage, over a bandage. ^^
Check it out. Right AFTER the kill, it's suddenly there.
This is making me sad...
I was really looking forward to Overstrike, but Fuse looks downright generic. The humor seems to be gone, and I hate the redesign of the characters.
At this rate, I reFUSE to buy the game.
Looks good, I already can see me replaying this over and over, like I did with Uncharted 2!
Altough, I am one impatient bastard if it comes to games and their releases, I want them to not rush this one out.
The footage seen so far, albeit awesome, is still missing a level of polish. Best example therefor is the bandage on Joel's right arm, which appeared out of nowhere right after he killed one of the hunters, with a brick.
However, I...
Great article. The headline is obviously there, to draw in some attention.
Unfortunately I'm one of those blind fools that got the game for Ps3 at launch. Big Mistake! If I knew Bethesda would differentiate their customers like this I would have never spent one cent on their game.
The comparison between systems and racism is actually pretty accurate, and I fucking hate that mentality. When I think back, the gaming community used to be a lot more open mind...
Looking forward to the video!
I'm curios of how much it might have improved since E3, and how different it will be played. I just hope it really is 17 minutes long.
Wasn't the localization already almost completed? I recall reading something like that and was super-pissed when SE simply decided to scrap it alltogether albeit being nearly finished.
Thinking about it... I still am super-pissed.
