If a series has always been on one system and that systems company buys the studio that owns that series thats fine. Their game was never on another system.
If a company buys a studio that had an existing series that was previously on all or most systems it is total BS. (tomb raider, Dead Rising now minecraft ect.)

The order is being made by Sony Santa Monica also know as Santa Monica Studio.
No Mans Sky's company Hello Games got their first big break with Joe Danger which was originally a PS3 exclusive.
WiLD is being made by a new studio from the creator of Rayman and is being published by SONY AKA Sony is helping fund the project.
SO what i'm saying is SONY isn't taking existing brands/series and buying them out claiming they are exclusive...

Rockstar IS fully owned by Take-2 but thats a contract deal if Take-2 is bought R* would then become their own independent studio and let me see if I can find the source.
I guess nobody on here knows about the deal R* has with Take-two in which if Take-two is bought by another company R* will not be included in the sale. R* will then become and independent company.
