Pidgeridoo, you're boxing yourself into a corner here. The gist of it is that sexism exists in the industry and in the games developed. Which is true. What are you getting so worked up about (I saw your comments on the original site)? One piece on the games industry's attitude to women and you're chucking your toys out of the pram...

Newspapers, specifically the knee jerk, reactionary, brimstone and fire, juicy gossip ones, work like this: Find a story that provokes a reaction or grabs readers' attention, write it up, make it sound worse than it is, hope to sell more papers. It's the nature of the business - if you're not selling papers, you're going out of business. Then again, if they did, I would also expect to see a damn fine piece of kit. As much as they wind everybody up, there operating system slaps Windows all round the room with a lump hamme...

I am so excited about this. I loved 1943 for a number of reasons - huge maps that meant (if you knew what you were doing) you didn't continually suffer the spawn die spawn die of COD, vehicles, destructible environments, small squads (so you don't have to clan up with total strangers just to get a chance of winning (I'm rubbish on my own, see)), and huge maps again.

I'm liking the sound of this one map/mode, sounds like a tactical approach will win out over run and gun, much mor...
