Personally, I'll take Super Meat Boy difficulty over La Mulana difficulty any day. But I totally get the appeal of the latter.
Ah, Samba de Amigo, in all its rhythm-based, vaguely racist glory.
Right. It's the blockbuster mentality. Anything you you push hard enough can be THE NUMBER ONE WHATEVER for a while.
If she had been baking a pie, and she'd had to leave her pie because her baby was crying, and then she had MURDERED HER BABY, would the headlines have suggested that pie had caused a murder? Somehow, I think not.
Until there's a shed of credible evidence that media violence actually leads to real-world violence (or indeed, to any out-and-out negative effect), this kind of legislation will never be anything more than shameful demagoguery.
Between MonkeyPaw and Carpe Fulgur, the import market is having itself a bit of a Renaissance! :D
This was seriously the best they could do when there is currently a very popular indie game ABOUT SURVIVAL called MINEcraft?
Man, forget your accusations--and the horsebird they rode in on.
Or just CAG. :D
To be perfectly honest, it's hard to imagine how moder-day Sega will avoid messing this up. But color me cautiously optimistic.

I'd be down.
This is definitely a step in the right direction for OnLive! And it's really awesome that the free games they gave out are actually free games, and not just free yearlong rentals.
You know, honestly, I'm OK with my favorite games not being movies. Cat's Cradle doesn't need to be a game, In The Aeroplane Over the Sea doesn't need to be a novella, and The Legend of Zelda doesn't need to be a movie (any more than Watchmen needed to be a movie). Sometimes things get made in a certain medium because that's the best medium for them.
*Shrug*
If Sonic 4 looked like this, I would be a lot more interested in it.
Indeed. We should all have such good friends to game with.
Having read your review, I'm tempted... But with more L4D2 content out tomorrow, by zombie-killing needs are fairly covered.
Hmm...
Yeah, fan translations are such a force for good in the world. Come on, Ganbare Goemon 3!
Also: The Adventure of Link is historical fiction. You heard it here first.
This exists before the Virtual Handheld exists. Just putting that out there.
