Still don't Quite get it after reading the 4d explanation.
looked like a Hide and reveal 3d mechanism to me.
Looks Mindboggling . Seems like a game that might kill all my brain cells.
interesting read. Might check out PAX.
I think the interview, was really about spirit of developers wiliness to attempting new things, than sticking to the marketable norms. Before indie games got successful support from kickstarter. Game developer probably are dependent on Mainstream publisher's opinion on what the Market will prefer. Which basically killed by Fav point&click adventure genre.
Dota,CS,etc.. modded game that got massively popular and picked up by publishers, says alot about how Publishers d...
Good read. Thank god for Indies and Devs that are willing to revive/reattempt genre's that were deemed "Dead". I thought i would never see another horror, space-sim, or adventure titles in the midst of game releases saturated with cover-Shooters & Sequels.
Looking Good.
Please let it be Heavenly Sword 2. XD
i am actually looking forward to "Alien Isolation", imo its always what an alien game should have been. Glad the horror genre had been revived. Looking forward to Red Barrels next project.
I don't think this game even needs an "at a glance introduction" . Was scared shitless by Outlast.
I swear, I had Samuel L Jackson's image floating at the back of my mind, when i read your first line.
Seems like all the characters are unique, since each cop have their own story. I wonder how is the Death mechanism like?
i am very sold on the 70's LA cops stories(good, bad&ugly?). Reminded me of one of my Fav movies LA confidential.
There isn't alot of games set within this period, if there is any. Looking forward.
I would rather see a Journalist Simulator than a "Game Journalism Simulator".
Obviously the player will probably not be writing articles, but simulate the writing of article. I would imagine the gameplay element to be in the interviewing process, like asking the right questions. if even that element is simulated, then it will just turn out like "game dev sim", shallow.
Brilliant finale. Looking forward to the next tell tale series.
I can imagine the difficulty for spy players trying to mimic Bot movement. XD
Can imagine it will be more challenging & tense playing the Spy.
Don't get me wrong. I am ok with construction noise, wip. if the core gameplay is fine, and its working as intended. graphic isn't the priority anyway. The recent trend of remastering of old games, says a lot about good gameplay& story telling. it is still very relevant now.
No offence, just speaking from past experience. once bitten twice shy,and i was bitten a few times. lol
:S not exactly a fan of early access games.
i shall wait for the release.
Don't think limited maps are a problem, if its allow to be modded by players.... Infact, It will be quite awesome actually.
I hope the AI is human enough, or at least Human will move like AI. In most games, its pretty easy to tell a human player from a Bot from the movements.
Omg, This is like a game of bluff. Very intrigued
Still don't quite understand the mechanism.
Hope to see this on Steam in thee Future.
