The difference is minimal, as of now its not a great purchase, im hoping mine will pay off in the future though.
I got one at launch and after finishing the games and showing it to family and friends it has barely been used. I may sell it, fun tech but will never replace 2d gaming.

I upgraded but i have a hard time saying no with new consoles and tech, in these early days it doesnt seem worth it as there arent many games taking advantage oof the power for 1080p but hopefully devs will get to grips with it soon and then we will see more, time will tell.
The biggest difference ive noticed since getting the pro is in vr games, much clearer with better textures,lighting and added effects.
What a shamozzle! I feel sony and microsoft got too ahead of themselves with the hdr/4k consoles.
I knew early on from doing my research that these tv's have a spectacular picture but are not good for gaming, i am hoping within a few years they might bring them up to speed and by then they will also be cheaper, fingers crossed.
Um the patch for uncharted was out 2 days ago.
It is indeed concerning considering sony told devs that no pro game should run worse than a base game yet here we are.
From here on in all games that utilise the pro will be marked with a "ps4 pro enhanced" logo in blue and white.
So if sony have demanded that pro games work at a higher frame rate or if not they have to match the base ps4 and bethesda hasnt done that, what are sony going to do about it?!
There is no way anyone with a decent telly would use it to play 2d games on unless they have rocks in their head.
I do and for the life of me i cant figure out why!, my camera is dead straight and centered, i am within range, im smack bang in the middle of its view, everything is calibrated yet i still get drift to the left!
Its beyond ridiculous!.
No f**king drift nor jitter, tah.
Its has the power but mainly if you have a 4k tv, hopefully in time devs will give more options to 1080p users cause as of launch their isnt much for them.
Finally! Now I can get back into it, darker nights and extreme weather here we come.

Funnily enough i never played it, my brother tried and tried to convince me.
Robots are one thing but cel shaded robots....now thats never gonna interest me.
And good riddance.
Because i can see how limited it is, there is not going to be some killer app that will make it anything more than it is....a fun distraction.
