sure, as pure work/development/gaming platform, iPad doesn't compete. It was never ment to use it that way.
But I won't change my iPad for a laptop anymore for using it in the living room. No lid to open, long battery life, everything from my server accesible where and when I want it to be.
Even if people buy it as bookreader/videostreamer/brows er, you will quickly find lots of cheap games on it. Those are the people that would never buy a PSP or ...

lst weekend, a couple and their 2 sons came to visit us. as usual, the PS3 was quickly turned on, this time to demo the Move.
Of course they wanted a PS3. But... According to the mother, they allready have a Wii, so what would happen with that console.
I'm affraid that lot's of gamers regret having choosen a Wii instead of a 360 or PS3.
just finished a one hour session to improve my skills on the third licence test in a Suzuki Swift. if you don't get the point of this, the game probably isn't for you.
