Exactly. It was the timing for release in crowded fall due to which titanfall 2 got lost. Compare that to the time period in which the first titanfall was launched and you will get a clearer picture.

I don't think there are huge number of people waiting for $500 console. Casuals sure aren't. And holidays sales are determined by casuals that are in the market for the cheapest products. Even Phil himself has admitted that xone S will sell more than the X.
Not that impressive considering this is the biggest market for xbox and its getting outsold more than 2:1 by PS4 in a slow month like june. Imagine the ratio worldwide, extremely poor 2017 for xbox so far, must admit.
