Orsimer (spelling?) has been recognized by the empire finally. They werent before Skyrim, but they have a province of their own now i believe. I think a lot of war and racism prevented them from being recognized before. However... it is debatable now whether the empire is the authority to recognize this anymore. There was an NPC in Morrowind that basically said the empires time was almost up. This character was a representation of Tiber Septim himself. I believe his name was Wulf or something...

This is something Morrowind got down right. Minus other characters coming in from other parts of Tameriel. Your actions seemed to carry more weight and essential characters were killable. I can understand why this is not as doable in Skyrim as morrowind though because with vampire attacks and dragon attacks.. you would constantly risk losing an essential NPC. To point something out. Solstiem belonged to the Nords before it was given to the dunmer. More so, it was for the skaal. In Bloodmoon, the expansion for morrowind that gave you access to solstiem, there were draugr everywhere... They were a LOT more difficult in bloodmoon than they are in Skyrim. The problem with Skyrim is not only the diversity of monsters but their difficulty. It makes for a less rewarding system. Or perhaps overly rewarding for something not to difficult to get. I'll l...
