Well, I must admit, I didn't expect less (or more) from Gears 2.
After all the videos I've seen, it looks more or less the same, and since the first game was hit, then the second would be too if they kept the things that made Gears 1 such a popular game.
And this is coming from a "sony boy".

Queers is dated. When I was watching those videos, I thought I was watching Queers 1.
Their old/new in general.
But if you look at them in their respective console lifetime, you will notice that R2 is coming out at the same time Halo came out.
In the 3rd year (or so) of the console's lifetime.
That is the reason they compare, to see how far the consoles progress.
Pretty simple.
While we're playing new games, go play Queers 1.5.
And you still hump Halo anyway.
Imagine what you'd do if you had R2 on 360.
Probably shed tears of joy.

You got your side scrolling, but you got 3 planes (foreground, middle and background) and touches of 3D.

PS3 pwns both times.
1. Rage - 360 too sh!t to handle the full experience.
2. Splinter Cell - don't make me laugh.
3. Final Fantasy XIII - *cough* in case you haven't noticed PS3 gets a completely second FF13 game - Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which looks to me a better game anyway. FF13 will be half assed port.

And the review for Battlefield Bad Company...it's a bit late isn't it?

R2 > Queers of...
A gamer loves gaming.
No matter what presentation, if the gameplay is good, you like it.
And I'm afraid that GTA falls into the "good gameplay" category.
