I'm the same. Half the games I own are not finished. About half of those are unplayed.
I was single for the first 24 years of my life. After college (and during) I used to play games almost 12 hours a day (work, play, work, play) but since I met my wife in 2004, bought a house, chores, 2 cats to clean up after, work, eventually kids .. etc ... I just don't have the time to play anymore. I'm 29, going on 30. I can't keep up to the level of gaming from 5-10 ...

The challenge with wives is finding good balance between wifetime and gametime.
IMO, depends what kind of wife you get. If you have the independant type that manages to let you do what you like while she does what she likes, then great, more time for you.
But if you get a wife that is either dependent or/and depressed, then there is little time to game as she is constantly asking for attention, to do things with her.

Same here. Was about midnight EST and I could not sync., first stopped at 92%, then 84%. Then I went to bed. Didn't try again this morning though, will when I get home.
Having played ME1 (Paragon), then ME2(Paragon), and ME1 again(Renegade) and ME2(Renegade) a second time ...
Verdict : I'll take the Hammerhead before the Mako hands-down.
To its credit, the Mako works well on flat terrain and during missions (where its mostly flat) in ME1 , but some planets were just horrible to drive on. Especially if one forgets to save and has to repeat. ;-(
We're one and the same. I play by myself 95% of the time. The 5% left is when I have the occasional game night with some friends.
As a dirty minded individual (I can thank my upbringing in a perverted family for this), I can't say I blame your friend for using his PS3 browser this way.
Pron on a HD TV must be better than on a PC monitor. Everything is ... Bigger ...
However PS3 browser does track history, so its not 100% wife-proof.

I bought FIFA 10 for my PSP and its proving to be a great time waster on long bus rides to and from work.

Its hard to buy games retail when its 10$-20$ cheaper on STEAM ... and during sales you can get great games at a bargain.
60$ retail or 40$ steam ... tough choice ...
I'm not sold on the whole 3D thing ... I enjoyed Avatar in Blu-Ray HD as much as in the theater in 3D.
But that is my viewpoint and I've got no place calling people idiots because they like it. No one does.
Some relatives of mine went to see Avatar in 3D 4-5 times ... at 13$ a pop, no thanks. Its their money, their choice. I'll keep that and buy myself a good PC of PS3 game instead ...
I'm not buying into Move nor this Kinect.
Xbox and PS3 should stick to what they do best or really invent something new instead of trying to copy what the other is doing.
Leave motion games to the Wii for families and parties.
DLC needs to be done right in order to be viable.
Assassin's Creed 2 DLC was obviously content removed from the game to make money as DLC. Especially the Battle or Forli, which left a huge chunk of the game world untouched in original game. They're not getting me to buy it.
My opinion is that DLC is just overpriced.
Considering only 10% of all PS3 get problems within 2 years of ownership, I think you're unlucky.

Agree with your wholeheartedly. I chose the PS3 for the reason that it does more than just gaming. Its a room-saving solution.

The white one I have clashes with my black PS3, PS2, speakers and my LG TV.
To give Nintento its due, the Wii is hard to beat when I have a game night with friends.
4 player Mario Kart and New Super Mario World is addictive fun.
We played a curling game (6 sets) last friday and it was fun.
Just saying that the Wii has its place.
On my own however, I rarely play on the console.
Pre-paid STEAM card would be on my Christmas and Birthday wishlists ...
