DX11 is not included with retail PC crysis, they are patching it. Those benchmarks are DX9.

Matchmaking has ruined gaming by taking away choice, adding more issues along the way.
I like to choose what to play on the game that I bought; except with matchmaking it sucks you into a room where you can sometimes join mid game, and your team is being spawn camped..

The Xbox has UNIFIED shaders, the PS3 has Vertex and Pixel shaders.

Its actually memory timings that make the biggest difference. Memory speeds are rarely truely used (DDR2VDDR3) and more so when you add triple channel into the mix.
Timings make the differences, speeds actually very little. This isnt comparing first gen memory vs ddr3, were talking past 5years for this comparison.

Wrong champ, laptops with dedicated cards have more power inside them today, you'll just need to spend 600-1000 to get one to do it.
Lower end desktops with a gpu today can game extremely well. Just built a system for 554.99 and it runs games amazing well.
To me PC's are eventually will take over consoles, as costs continue to drop and OS software becomes more 'XBL live like'.
PC's are more cost effective if you have speakers...
