Macs have outdated GPU's and you cant even upgrade them unless you have the retardedly pricy pro.

Its a failed design, they need to fix this in future macs.

GPU's dont calculate like a General CPU. Its different; extremely different. A cpu does so much work in so many different ways in a very effective manner compared to gpus.

Some software does use Nvidia cards, like Adobe.

Personally; that isnt very impressive, it should of done better being GTX 280.

Alan wake does have the best story i've seen in a long time. Personally even better than heavy rain as its more interactive and alot more depth in the physical gameplay.

But it really doesnt make much sense to buy a card for a game your not really going to play much.

Like on a thread back, some guy got two (700+) 5890's to run MOH. Look how that turned out. It doesnt pay off since PC gamers get screwed on games that really push the tech.

Personally you'd be better off to buy a GTX 470/60 or 5850. I still dont find good games to bring my system down. Starcraft 2 any decent card can run it max; diablo 3, same deal. <...
