Why do these articles keep popping up? When the pure reason why PS3 games aren't surpassing X360 games, is because developers aren't even using the SPE's. And yes the GPU of the 360 vs the PS3's GPU, the 360 is more powerful. But keeping in mind, that only relates to the PS3's GPU by itself. The RSX GPU was designed to work hand and hand with the Cell Processor, sharing the load with each other. Obviously there's a learning curve on how to apply 6 SPE's to work functionally with the RSX GPU. ...
so sony has sold 23 million PSP's world wide, and 350,000 of those crisis core slim psp's in japan on day one. Taking account that every PSP owner will buy at least 2 UMD's, perhaps one game and one movie at $39.99 each. That equates to an average of $920 million worth of sales. You guys fail to realize that there's no actual proof of any of this unless EACH game is listed on which works and which doesn't work. yeah at least they're target is LOCKED at 30fps though. way better than 10fps, then 20fps, then 30, oh back down to 10, whoops 5 now, then back up to 10, oh jolly back at 30. at least LOCKED at 30fps is a nice balance between smooth gameplay and high end graphics. besides, 60fps on UT3 will make me dizzy lol
microsoft should make PGR4's graphics with Forza 2's physics, then it would compete with GT5, or even dominate it. GT5 will win over japan with it's simulation especially the type of race cars there. and the japanese loves they're race cars. while PGR4's arcadey gameplay will be only loved by the U.S. both games will be great. but the final version of GT5 is a force to be reckoned with.
