the GI review was kinda lame. they gave the game an average score b/c they felt it was too hard and they died so many times (didnt like sitting thru the assention scene). WTF! it sounds good in theory but there is no way to enforce age limits on rooms or even to execute the idea. what's to stop 'tweens' from just lying about their age. there's no way to verify age online. its already gonna be a problem cuz people are already talking about putting porn and XXX stuff up. gonna lead to complaints and sony will have use its own banhammer. sony fanboys will cry foul as do 360 fanboys now, cuz sony is giving them enough rope to hang themselves with.
I just think Home is a waste of time. If I wanted to decorate a room I could do that at my REAL home. I mean, all this stuff is kinda, meh.... IMO this is a good (great would be 800 pts)price for this game. When I first bought Alien Hominid on my Gamecube its was $40, so picking it up on XBLA for 800 pts ($10) was a steal. This team makes great pick up and play games that make the time just disappear.
Also, think about this, if they release this game on the wii it will almost certainly be disc based and in the $40-50 price range. Food for thought.

I already love it, and I didnt even play with the hack to unlock all the classes. It looks great, and will look even better now that it is complete. the camera takes getting used to and i have the instinctual reaction to try to turn the camera with the right stick, which leads to my Berserker swinging his ceremonial hammer around like a madman. other than that i have no complaints. the juggling is cool once you get the rifle and aft...
Its definately not used. They have strict zero tolerance laws in Japan about stores reselling used games. MGS have never been a huge seller in Japan.
I don't trust what an idividual 'player' post on the web. You never know what their angle is. Most of the people who say they've played the demo have not, and a large portion of those don't even own the system. They just do anything to try to diss that system.
Most of the previews I've read were impressed. Personally I'm gonna buy it because I like to try new IPs and the demo was fun and fresh.
The problem with that is there are only a few african american developers out there. None of them seem to be concerned with black characters in games. Most developers worldwide are asian. They have a fascination with tough guy, blonde western looking characters. thats how games have always been. And of course In America, nowadays all the characters look like battle scarred giants with big guns and big armor. People make what they think will sell.

fella, this game is based on an Anime show with a black hero, how is that forced? Maybe you should watch the tv show.
Also, you should play Crackdown. The main hero in that game is black, and it isnt forced.

the concept it nice, but this level of MMO kinda requries a high level of bandwith that wifi cant always provide, otherwise there will be a terrible lag. may require hardline connection.
This sounds ambitious and all, but with wifi its gonna be hard to actually successfully pull off. Lagtastic. Honestly that level of MMO requires a high amount of bandwith, and may requre an actual hardline.
G4 and Spike will have coverage, but if you have never experienced E3 on XBL then you seriously are missing out. There will be tons of new AAA demos, first party demos, free gamerpics/themes, giveaways, special features added to online play, not to mention the biggest interviews and presentations from E3 for the 360.
Plus, G4 dropped the ball last year on coverage, onlime and televised.

I gotta say, I am a vista fan. The customization is great. the Sidewall and gadgets are cool, Aero is cool, Media Center and Office 07 are the shiznit! I was an early adapter(i know, i know) and so I initially thought it was a dud. But when I upgraded RAM, and Microsoft released SP1 it really stabilized it. Vista is running like a champ now.
if true it'd be very welcome news. But I feel they need to expand the franchise (i.e. halo wars). It would blow peoples minds if they announced it as a 3rd person or shoulder cam game. That'd be sweet!

yeah and there really isnt any way to restrict access to a room from anyone. What's to stop someone from putting in a fake date of birth. Its not like you have to input your vital info into the console when you buy it. Porn streaming on a console would be a recipe for lawsuits.
