I think in these situations a PC will always come top. Were it not for the social "get your mates around on the sofa for a pizza and games" aspect of gaming, I think consoles would have died a while ago and everyone would be engineered towards PC gaming.
Was pretty shocking to see the server issues for myself, thought it might be one of those exaggerated urban myths but it's as bad as everyone says it is. Virtually unplayable online at the moment!
Crytrek have always loved their GFX, can't see that changing anytime soon.
Top top news, looking forward to this come December!
Haway currently writing a review for Outlast - would love to try Whistleblower after what has been an impressive first entry to the series.
Don't see how the game is at all confusing! It's compact, it resolves itself and then offers a solid conclusion - no loop holes or unanswered questions unlike Infinite.
This author's clearly been on the receiving end of a good raping.
You sum it up well there, it's definitely a breath of fresh air. I'd played the Advanced Warfighter games before, but they're almost embarrassing compared to this. It may not be a giant killer, but it's a step in the right direction for future shooters.
I didn't know this was against N4G's policy. Just thought people would appreciate some generosity, if you'd rather not have it then that doesn't bother me.
To be fair, I'm 20 now so I must have been around about 6 when I played the majority of the PSOne games on my list (Resident Evil included). Since then, I've revisited many of the more renowned titles such as Silent Hill, Metal Gear and Gran Turismo - and whilst they're great games they'll never surpass the entertainment value of those in my top 10.
If you enjoyed Binary Domain, you should definitely enjoy this Bago! It lacks some of the cool features of BD (ie - the waterslide intro, the voice chat) but makes up for them with some hectic moments that would make Naughty Dog proud.
That's a great point Blumatt! I'd actually agree with you on that one.
Haha! Finally. Thanks Astaroth - I completed Morrowind.
That's good news Tristan! Let me know what you think of it.
Megaton,
"During a recent Gametrailers.com interview, Frank Gibeau of EA alluded toward Mirror’s Edge 2 no longer being put on hiatus and also hinted at this title taking full use of Battlefield 3’s Frostbite 2 engine. He also went to say that everyone at the company has much love for the franchise which is curious considering how rocky the development process has been thus far and what Gibeau has stated in the past in ill favor of the first Mirror’s Edge game."
They should never have attempted a turn-based, roll-of-the-dice style American Football game in the first place. Who the hell would fund that!?
I don’t understand why you’re criticizing a deeper analysis into the game than you get with most writers?
You take things at face value Julie. It looks pretty and plays nice - therefore you’ve got to stay loyal and defend it? What if I think it looks pretty and plays nice - but has a balls story? Is my opinion suddenly not valid?
You’re playing a cliche. But you’re too dumb enough to accept it.
WHY IS EVERYBODY CRAZY!?
How is this a flame article!? It boasts in the very first line 'I love this game'.
I wrote it. I've played it and I enjoyed it.
However it's 100% true that they neglected the storyline and opted for the cop-out, generic babble that we see in every action adventure movie/game!
SOMEONE HAS TO AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO TRY AND MAKE YOU GENERAL PUBLIC UNDERSTAND. YOU'RE PAYING TO PLAY A CLICHE. YOU'RE PAYING GOOD MONEY, TO PL...
Cheers pal! Enjoy the game!
