Yeah, the 'party' ad was hilarious! Lol, keep em comin KB!
Is Nintendo really in a spot to criticize anyone about a lack of games though?
As far as the SOny UMD program being bad news how about this. I'm going to sign up for gamefly, or go to a local block buster (there's still several open in my area) and rent a crap ton of PSP titles for dirt cheap. Get a digital copy and all those games are now mine without ever having to purchase anything.
Or better yet, I'm gonna go to gamestop, get a bunch of used PSP games, get digital copies and then return them within Gamestops 7 day return period. Didn...
This is great news for people with umd games. At least they now have the ability to keep their entire library. Nice move Sony
Gamestop has Ruin slated for launch day as does Sony on the Playstation website. Of course we still don't have an official list of launch titles for the US so anything could happen I guess, but I think Ruin is gonna be there.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss WOULD have been the first game I bought but then I switched to the First Edition Bundle lol. Little Deviants will be the first game I get my hands on but come the 22nd of feb I'll have
Little Deviants
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Ruin
ModNation Racers Road Trip
and probably a couple other titles to start off my Vita collection of games. Those are just the ones I have preordered and paid off already. Gravity Daze ...
That Chun-Li -_-
Saw this on youtube the other day. the UI looks really smooth and the screen looks so good! Even in this video it looks fantastic. Really cannot wait to get this little device!
Three months and 5 days until I'll have mine, it's gonna be a long wait -_-
I have said this before, but once again, I think people are underestimating just how important PSN is going to be and how big of an advantage it gives to Vita. Multiplayer is simply a necessary factor in a majority of genre's these days. I don't mean to make this a 3DS vs Vita thing, but what good is that analog add on going to be? Sure it may get Call of Duty on the 3DS but what good is Call of Duty without a strong online component? Friend Codes don't cut it in games like Call o...
Hmmm interesting code name. It'll be interesting to see where Microsoft goes with this of true. I also wonder what they'll do differently with the next Xbox. Online was their heavy focus this time but what will they focus on next? Kinect maybe? Who knows.
A tweet that all he typed was 'LOL' is somehow news? I just...I don't even....
Sony never pushes their games that hard here in the States, and if they did it'd probably be either New York or LA that got this kind of treatment, though Seattle would probably be next on that list. I'd love to see something like that here in Portland, but we'd have even less of a chance then Seattle lol
Then again we did get the Subway Promo so I guess that was pretty huge.
Hmmm...kinda weird that all online retailers are sold out of the Vita in Japan then. No, amazon are liars they didn't sell out </sarcasm>
Hey America stop making me kill everything in sight with no real purpose behind it.
@compositiontheory
You're wrong my friend. Within 10 weeks of launching Nintendogs was sitting at a healthy 2.5 million sold. In fact, it's first week on sale it was already halfway to where the sequel is nearly a year later. And I mentioned those ports because I recall them being talked up as must buy games for the 3DS. Obviously most of the install base didn't feel the same.
@kclesot
A million of anything is good. But read the article. It mention...
@2EHO
Yes, Mario and Mario kart will sell very well. This much is obvious and they will push units. My point is, articles like this try to make it seem as if every single first party Nintendo game sells gangbusters and that just is t true. It's generally just the games that feature Mario in the name that sell so many units.
Nintendogs + Cats is, in a way, proof of the fact that Nintendo had the casuals buying the game in droves. The sequel isn't doing nearly ...
Yep, it's that time of year again so I think we'll start seeing week to week growth as we get closer to the holidays.
Nintendogs + cats, which I believe launched with the 3DS. I could be wrong though, is currently sitting at barely over a million sold worldwide. I guess nobody cared for the sequel to a pet game. Not even with few other titles to choose from are most people purchasing this first party Nintendo game.
Pilot Wings is barely over 500K worldwide. Another Nintendo first party game.
Ocarina of time, clearly the biggest 3DS game so far, has sold just under 1.5 millio...
I've already paid off my Vita so either way I'll be paying that couple hundred bucks. And those psp games are upscaled in the Vita and have updated controls. Something not possible on the psp.
By a landslide Uncharted 3 is my personal GOTY. Haven't played a game that I enjoyed so much since the last Uncharted. I know the other games that are nominated are all great game and I don't say this to take anything away from them, but Uncharted 3 is a classic game. Well done Naughty Dog, hats off.
