Respawn say that framerate is king, so whatever it takes to maintain the 60fps they'll do it.

It sounds like they've just ported the PS3/360 versions over to PS4/X1 without allowing for the extra RAM which would've reduced the annoying load screens.
Shame.
Based on other titles which have managed 1080p (or close to it) and 60fps it sounds like the developer and/or engine are to blame, not the PS4.
Yeah, I suppose they had to do something like this. Surprised they didn't go lower, they'd make the money back on software sales.

I thought PS4's GPU has at least 50% more CU's, ROPS and shader units? One of those is more like 100%, I forget which one.
Resolution and framerate seemed to matter a lot last gen, with several multi-plats not running so well on PS3. 360 fans rejoiced.
Now we're in a new generation, and the tables have turned, suddenly resolution doesn't matter according to some people.
So when PS5 and Xbox Two are out, will it matter then?
