I don't know much about hacking/cracking but maybe they're been very careful not to open up any back doors to keep the platform secure (Remember Linux on PS3?).
It does look VERY good, so I'm tempted :)

And if you pair your phone/tablet to your YouTube account you can control YouTube in PS4 browser with it, pretty cool :)
At least we had controller battery status/alerts from day 1, certain other machines have only just got that feature, lol :)

GPU Compute is the future, luckily Mark Cerny knew this and gave the PS4 more gpu compute units.

It's good that PS4 is trying for a higher frame rate but I really dislike variable frame rates, can be quite off putting.

Based on 360 sales (<1000 most weeks according to vgchartz) I don't know why MS bothered.
They should've redirected those units to regions where the 360 sold better.
