i have disposable income but not unlimited time, (work. kids, wife etc..) that being said fallout 3 was one of the only games that i completed twice taking a different approach on each play thru. my only rpg completed, and i also have oblivion and new vegas. needless to say very worthwile game, also completed all dlc.

this game may have cod controls but the rewards/upgrades using saved currency (battle points) is the best part of the game. have crysis 2 and kz still to play but cant put this game down. Mp ofcourse, good gaming to everyone.
@ retrofly 100 million people own angry birds so I guess that's the greatest game ever. Or greatest third bird-son shooter. Or Rebecca blacks Friday song is the greatest song ever recorded. Sales = money =\= quality.
I agree with the believing/buying the hype statement, but this game feel thru the cracks for me pre-launch. So without any expectations to meet i was able to really enjoy the mp for this game, even enjoy the bp over killstreaks. so i feel your pain in just about every game i buy. sidebar i think medal of honor was my biggest letdown/ hype induced buy.
if maybe once in awhile there would be a free map or xtra game play then I would feel more like DLC adds to the experience. But most times its just a quick buck that arrives well after the game has left my radar on being played. off topic for a second, if you want really good deals on games go to a local pawn shop, then paying 10-15 bucks for dlc is balanced when you payed 10 bucks for the game. thanks for reading off to try to get into a game of homefront.
If it's not a FPS in this day and age then the article is true and it's not relevant. Most people online our playing first person shooter look at ur friends list and see whateveryone else is playing. Prob 75% FPS and all other genre's 20% and your married friends on Netflix.
Good review, I find the gameplay (MP) addicting and not wanting to put it down. (of course i might not be able to get into a game if i back out for awhile). i hope the lobby problems dont hinder this game for long, this game really offers so much in battle points, abiities and how you use them to help yourself and your team.
so i guess your wrong twice. or clarify for which system your talking about. cause God of war, uncharted 2 and kz2/kz3 our all on or below par to this game. edit: ofcourse your prob talking about pc which the only game ive played on pc is farmville so you may be correct
yeah i love this game more than crysis right now but cant get into a game for 45-60 minutes sometimes, Now find myself to be playing crysis more. hope that homefront isn't a ghost town when they finally get it patched.
Glad to see these numbers for such a fun game. This game just has something that COD has been missing since moderwarfare 1. Not having killstreaks, or noob tubing is not as easy, so it makes players have a little more skill than mw2 or black ops. Hope that players arent spread to thin tho with kz3, crysis and both cod mw2 and black ops being played.

This game has a fun factor when you get into a game. They really need to fix the waiting for "X" amount of players to start match. I know with this many sell there is at least 24 people playing online at an given time. Thanks for reading, good gaming to everyone
its a change from call of duty games cause u need to use battle points earned to purchase perks and vehicles, or air attack vehicles. you can save your BP like money and when you have enough saved to buy the perk/reward you want then spend from your savings, eliminates the need to hide and try only to work on a long kill streak to get a good reward. also the battle command match game gives your soldier a wanted level like gta series, you level rises with each kill streak you get and contin...
