No, they are on our side, the people who are making Let's Plays, video reviews, etc. They're telling people "fight the copyright claims, here, we're giving you legal letters to do it with."
I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
I think good things could come of it. I would like to see what Crystal Dynamics (who did a fantastic Tomb Raider reboot) could do with this one.
Why thank you! And yes, I agree, taking it to court is a little excessive - but I think she was probably hoping they'd back down and avoid all the trouble.
Still, the way the court put it was silly. Just because she enchanted other items after the sword? Dude, I do batch enchants often enough without noting for sure what each item was until afterwards... and that game does not exactly distinguish individual items very well.
I think it's only going to become more and more an exact mirror of the film industry in that respect. There will be the odd gem (The Last of Us) but for the most part, much of what we'll see will be formulaic because it works (a la Fast and the Furious). There are always plenty of indie and independent films, but you're right, it's not like people line up out the doors to watch them.
Thank you, that has been changed. Misread the source. :)
I'm not offended. I just find it dumb. I don't like the character design (I think she looks like she's had a stroke with the way the shadowing is done on the other side of her face, for one), and I think she looks more trashy than sexy. I like sexy outfits, this doesn't really do it for me.
But regardless of what her in-story reasons for wearing that silliness are, it's just a validation. The real reason is still "he wanted an 'erotic' female...
The first DLC is 'free' for those who already preordered.
Also, price drops. Amazon UK has been doing some crazy ones, let's hope it follows suit in NA (and not just in America 'cause I'm Canadian...)
That's what Nintendo's hoping for! :)
That's probably where the low price comes in handy. You buy it. You have it around. I don't suspect it's a reason to gather the folks over, but it is something that'll start to sound like hilarious fun once you're down half a bottle or so.
The Asia release is reputed to be in English, at least for the most part. There are certain lines that they promise to be said in that particular region's language.
I don't know, I think fake breasts are knockoff breasts in and of themselves anyway aren't they?
Hahah it's the little things. :)
Right? I don't see why his presence on this project inspires so much confidence in people. I haven't liked what I've heard so far about him.
I forgive them a lot for Tomb Raider. I haven't been interested in any Final Fantasy game for a while, but I am in love with the headlong thrills rush that is being the new (old) Lara Croft.
I think you take too much out of a title--and just the title. I know I certainly didn't write about the sure death of the Wii U. I don't believe it for a second. But there's no denying that it has disappointing launch sales, just as there is no denying there were disappointing launch sales for the 3DS.
But it is an indication that Nintendo needs to DO SOMETHING, like it did something when the 3DS launch disappointed. And I think they will. They're pretty fast ...
From the looks of their financial statements, I'm not entirely certain this is the case. The press release sourced in the article included a forecast for 2013 that included a sizeable jump in sales, with no corresponding jump in operating income.
To be fair, this excludes expected earnings from PS4 sales in 2013, but on the whole, this is what has happened to Sony: they have been losing money for five years straight. 2011 saw a 456-billion yen loss(~$5.6 billion USD). 201...
No, I didn't say that at all. Anyway. I said what Sony said. It was cheaper to make than the PS3. That's all. And it can't be wrong because it's true.
My point was that I don't think savings to them mean direct savings to the consumer too (it'll be priced lower, I suspect, but that's because they've decided they can't get away with pricing at the $5-600 range again). I expect Sony to make a good device and sell it at a high price FOR LONGER...
I've seen this making the rounds on Twitter, it's pretty good-looking!
