I believe vr has so much more potiental we are past the beginning stages of vr. Consumers have them in their homes it's time to expand on the Content instead of just fps they need action adventures, better horrors, or even try to just get into the strategy side of things something like ( tropico, mercenaries, mutant year zero or something like that. Sad to see that my beloved bf will flop this year and not purely because of gameplay, but because they havent learned from other companies mistakes. U just made a fifa example yet that is a AAA 3rd party game that doesnt support crossplay just like all the others bf,cod, madden ect. This crossplay issue is a f2p issue (which aint free on the xbox by the way) and as far as this sony defender shit, sony is my preferred console but i also supported the other 2 over the last few generations and u must not have really read my post because i said IT WILL EFFECT ALL CONCOLES NOT SONY
You state the pros but not the cons of this issue. Idk about u but i love gaming on my console over pc this trend will hurt consoles. If u can simply crossplay across all three consoles u will dilute the competition between the three which will then dilute our actual quality that we are recieving with our exclusives. Next gen is here a new playstation is coming and so is a xbox if we crossplay between them what will the differnece between the they might as will just be one box .
To think this all started from a f2p game this drama should of blew over a week after it started i agree im sick of this story trust n believe there is alot of other shit that all thre consoles could fix and we should focus our energy on those thing just to name a few, xbox paywall on f2p games, switch not having a proper headphone to chat feature, sonys taking to long for name change feature.

If that's the case why is ppl buying xbox concoles still it may not be selling as crazy as they want but ppl are still buying it for third party. I agree most of us brought our playstations for that reason also nintendo but where is the case on MS end of that topic.
Exactly what i been saying i been gaming since the atari era never been issue to either own your system of choice or own multiple systems buying hardware used to strengthen the industry but now adays you have to buy the same damn system 3-4 times in the same damn generation. And now this whole crossplay thing that will kill the industry by opening all three boxes making it unnecessary to own more than one.

Not a bad article just wish MS had a better game then the same forza to go head to head with spiderman. With that said we all know all three will fly off the shelves i cant wait for spiderman.
