I was disappointed at first, but I agree that it's been a real point of diminishing returns single-player wise. If it was just going to be more of that then I can't say I'm all that sad about the loss
I'm curious how much can actually be reused. Maybe the BOIII stuff, but anything from the original or II would likely need work done on it.
Hopefully this isn't an asset flip like you're saying, but I guess we'll see!
