the infrastructure that took fifteen years to build up is mostly built on a preexisting infrastructure. Copper lines were already in place well before the internet was. This new internet you speak of is based on a FiOs infrastructure. How long do you suppose it will take to build this infrastructure from the ground up?
They disagree with you because, in your contrast with the word alive, "dead" means "no longer alive," as in, "what was at one time alive, but no longer is. And clearly, in this use of the word dead, the xbox does not apply. There are other uses of the word "dead," but none that fit the contrast with the VERY SPECIFIC use of the word "(a)live" that you had used.

but I also was very disappointed in it at the same time. I thought it could have been a GREAT game. We look at GTAiv and there is just SO MUCH to do (albeit not as much as san andreas), and in AC there are only three or four different side missions available in the entire game. I think Ubi could have done better.
EDIT: I'm at work and can't read the article, so I do not know if the author claims these games are bad, but as I said, I thought that AC was a disappointment nont...

The show is a good concept, but some advice:
1. Watch the hand movements, they're distracting. Hand movements are supposed to be few, and enhance the speech, not distract from them.
2. As everyone else has said, you come across as biased. There is nothing wrong with preferring playstation over xbox, but you should be openly criticizing all consoles, not just xbox. If playstation drops the ball, say so; if xbox deserves an accolade, give it to them.

I agree, the default settings make the game too dark. But fortunately you can change these in-game for the better.
because Blockbuster is targeting movie goers rather than gamers. I'm sure that "Transformers" the videogame will conjure of feelings of the movie (as of now only available in hi def through HD-DVD), which is Blockbusters motivation for the choice.
