I imported Ouendan 1 and 2 , as well as Jump Ultimate - they work fine as the ds is region free.
Good games btw.
I want Zombies, creepy old mansions, and Barry Burton as the lead character , cheesy one-liners n'all.
Looks interesting, I kind of admire the dev team for moving the story forward , and bringing in a lot of new characters.
I wonder if Dampierre and Tira are still in, and also who the 'bonus' characters will be?
I played the demo last night, was pretty good.
Seems like a great game for multi-player.
The Dreamcast was my first console, + I still have it!!!
Shenmue, Sonic Adventure 2, JSR, HoTD2, Powerstone, MvC2, Soul Calibur, Project Justice, SF3, Skies of Arcadia, Daytona, Met Street Racer.....
..... *sigh* happy days, lol
I like Halo , the gameplay feels 'open', it's like each time you replay a level different things happen.
The enemies are smart,+ unpredictable, and they're quite happy to use even your own weapons and vehicles against you.
Most other FPS's I've played, the bad guys are in the exact same spot and pretty much do the exact same thing every time..... which gets old real fast.
And the online and forge features are excellen...
True , although that seems to be the way MS operate.
It probably works out cheaper then owning your own studio, but then again it doesn't guarantee future exclusivity.
That said, I'm pretty happy with what MS have achieved this gen.
Not really, MS invest alot into all areas, e.g. disc based, downloadable and motion controller + services.
As for investments in to AAA IP's - MS opened a new studio (Zipline - I think) to work on a new AAA FPS IP , Lionhead have a second project , EA have a secret project for E3 2012, Yu Suzuki is making an exclusive beat-em-up, Class 3 , Ryse, Rise of Nightmares, Draco, Diabolical Pitch,+ Akai Katana.
Then there's regular stuff like Gears 3, Forza ...
The first time I saw that it really cracked me up!
Ms Splosion man is great , and Gunstringer should be out by the end of the year also!
August 30/31 (PS3/X360) , still over a month to go....
So the writer is completely slating the game , even though he hasn't played or seen anything from the game other then the E3 footage....... yawn.
In all seriousness, it's NOT Fable 4, it's a Fable game made for Kinect. And if it uses the same tech as Milo, possibly giving you the ability to talk to npcs and they can understand you and talk back, that'd be great.
I'm looking forward to see what they've come up with.
....what the hell???!!1
I got this game yesterday , it's brilliantly funny ,has 50 levels plus lots of unlockable extras, and it's only 800mp , well worth it!
Looks pretty good....
It looks great , can't wait for October!
EA have done loads of good stuff this year , I really like Alice and Shadows of the Damned , plus they did Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2 also.
Wow , the reviewer really couldn't 'see the forest for the trees ' .
Didn't MS already open a new studio (Zipline) to work on a new FPS Ip?
Plus there's an exlcusive from EA, Yu Suzuki is making an exclusive fighting game, and there's Lionhead's second project, plus the next Project Gotham, + Alan Wake 2, Shadow complex 2, and I've heard rumours Crytek are making the next Timesplitters game also. I'd be surpised if Epic aren't working on something also.
So it could be great......... or it could be another...
I guessing - with the subtitle 'Night Springs' , the XBLA game will be a series of short stories - like episodes of X-files or twilight zone , possibly episodes that Alan Wake wrote.
It doesn't matter if it's an XBLA release , so long as they keep the same great quality of writing/story telling and presentation I'm all for it.
That's weird , the US Amazon sales figures had Child of Eden as the number 1 selling game , outselling even Zelda on the 3ds.
http://www.gamasutra.com/vi...
Granted Amazon sales figures don't represent the whole , but being number one on the multi-plat chart - I'm surprised it didn't sell more then 34k from Amazon alone, ...
