are gamers going to stop playing zelda, uncharted or halo I think not, exclusives are what drives the console markets and even if velve make Half-Life 3 steam only its not enough to make me give up on the other 3, I see it as an addition to other consoles not a replacment and for pc gamers it is still a down grade so they won't buy it, there aiming at the console crowd and I don't think a lot will buy it over the others.

well retro has hired a lead game programer from naughtydog to work on game engines for Wii u so expect something amazing from them but that said zelda should stay with EAD and let retro make a new ip for Wii u it needs a new franchise.
good read I've been saying this for ages, no games console come close to specs of a gaming pc and graphics won't be a huge leap, they've nearly reach graphic saturation, the last gen jump was too big to make a difference this gen, with last of us coming out on ps3 I find it hard to believe that games are going to look drastically better than that in the next 3 or so years. if you play specs get a pc if you like fun exclusive games play consoles.

I play vita and I've compared the golden abyss mgs hd collection and littlebigplannet vita to uncharted 1 mgs hd collection and littlebigplannet 1 on ps3. now on its own vita looks amazing but as soon as you load a simalar ps3 game and actually compare the graphics for your self you see how washed down vita graphics are (but this is expected as its a handheld) now with that said I find it hard to believe as a vita owner that phantom pain can run on vita exactly how it was shown in traile...
