When it premiered MS was using it to pull the wool over gamer's eyes about the shortcomings of the XB1 hardware. It was THE POWER OF THE CLOUD that would make crackdown and other XB1 titles jump ahead of the competition. Not so much anymore.
Turns out, you needed to spend an extra $500 to improve that XB1/CRACKDOWN experience

How many hours of BC if XB1 had a stronger library?

The game is fun. Cant put it any more simple than that. Sure, i get people not liking the art-style or humor but the gameplay is solid, IMO.

DtD is probably PS+'s biggest and best release on PS4 to-date. I was really not feeling the aet-style in any of the trailers I saw leading up to release.

But I have PS+, why in the he'll would I not download and try it?!?

So, I did. I think it's very fun. The art-style isnt as confusing or hard to read as expected.
Great sense of humor (they know they over did it, that's the point), fun weapons and gameplay, a good amount of ...

Agreed. Could have taken a page out of the Last of Us.

I know, right. I'm pissed guerilla games made Aloy female when I'm male. No way for me to put myself in her shoes for the time I play each day.

I'm also pissed Suckered Punch is developing a Spiderman game. I would NEVER wear spider web tights..... how can I possibly feel involved in the story?

Ah, but having hetero relationships in all games and then crying when anything else is included isn't entitled....... sure, sure

LOL, not even close to the story.

They're talking about trailers and what is in trailers.

@naruga....... why, you think the LGBT community only plays "casual games"? How ignorant of you.

Unless the title is being played at that moment, family members with their own account and with their own console should be able to have access to that game. Just like a physical disc.

Anything less than that is BS DRM and should be fought against.

I'm a big Sony fan, I think it's funny.

Come on people! This was gamer comedy gold!

Like paying to play online, right? Just don't pay for it........

So no one can count on a game built for their specific hardware? Ports are known for performance over those built with specific hardware in mind?

3732d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

It's about focus. It's about developers milking every bit of resources from a console.... not leaving the tinkering to the end-user like a PC.

OWNERSHIP!!

This is why discs crush digital copies.

Don't like the game, sell it or trade it to recoup some funds for your next purchase. Want to lend to a friend? Do it. Want to hold a tangible product? Pick it up, look at the cover, have a shelf of them on display.

Digital is nice for convenience, HORRIBLE if you regret your purchase.

The same could be said about the Wii-U

I agree on the pick-up-and-play aspect to it. I can see myself playing it when I have a limited amount of playtime and dont feel like diving into a full story driven plot or some deep puzzles.

Currently that title for me is Race to the Sun. I guess if I can play that all these weeks later, something far more robust like NMS could be great.

While I am very excited for this title and think that there will be a very healthy community of players at the start, Im just not seeing , thus far, anything that will keep a multitude of players coming back 6 months+ after release. Once you go planet to space to planet a few times and the gameplay settles in your head, will there be enough to excite you?
