I just got into the closed beta a couple weeks back but this is awesome news because it will allow so many new people to meet! Great job Sony, keep it up!
I got the closed beta invite about 2 weeks ago now, and about every other day I end up firing up Home...Usually to play pool, bowling or chess. It's a really good idea, Sony just needs to add some more things to do. It's nice meeting people but they need to add some rooms for like music, movies, etc so people can connect with other people on what they are interested in...But overall it's a great idea with tons of potential...
LBP for $40 is a damn steal! Not only does it have all the story levels which are flat out amazing, but thousands and thousands of user created levels which you can play whatever you want, plus you can create your own levels, this game I'll be playing forever...
I really wanna get R2, I wish that was $40 cuz I'd buy it for sure, but i'm so tight for money it's sick right now...

The game plays a 100x better, however their are still very long loading screens :(

I will say Dead Space and Mirror's Edge do look pretty good, and I'm glad to see EA stepping outside the box and finally taking a chance and putting out some new IP's.
Socom has never been about the mind blowing graphics. It is however all about great gameplay, good teamwork and very deep clan support, which in the end trumps the graphics.
The Wii is selling like hot cakes, there isn't going to be a Wii 2 or whatever they call it for a long time. They are going to milk the Wii for what they can, these articles are getting old...
I just don't get why this stuff gets posted. These numbers are not accurate and that has been proven by the NPD month after month. The best part is how VGChartz has always been having the 360 outsell the PS3 and the PS3 has outsold the 360 for the year...but whatever...

It's still very early...I don't think you can find a player for under $400 plus I doubt over 30% of people have an HDTV...I give Blu-Ray about another 2 years and it should start to make an impact...Remember DVD players didn't fly off the shelf from the start.

I highly doubt all these games will be there. I would honestly be happy to see half of those. E3 shines when new hardware gets released but for software it looks like Leipzig, TGS, GDC are more for showing off the software...
There main focus is the games that drop in 2008...they just wanted to TEASE people with TEASER trailers for 2009, relax...
