Sony and Microsoft have been stealing ideas from Nintendo for ever. In fact they steal from each other, case in point now Nintendo is doing it with their classic controller. Its common place in the industry.
Who comes to market first gets the props and in this case Nintendo gets most of the recognition for innovation. Its just in their DNA.

Dude, I don't know if this game is being made or not, but it don't matter. Shenmue has been around for years in the guise of Yakuza. If you got a jones to play Shenmue 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 go play Yakuza.

Based on the gameplay footage I saw, I can see myself enjoying this game right now or whenever the next systems come out.
