Its a lot of things, but its not an rpg, that's for sure. Final Fantasy is more an rpg than this game and that's basically an adventure game.

The game art looks amazing, IF they can make the actual game look like that it would be great based on what I saw so far it doesn't seem that way. I've pledged, I have faith in that he can deliver, he knows this kind of game well. I would like to see a prototype something to get me excited, the same way the artwork did.

What the hell is Game of the Year? there is no such thing, this makes no sense what so ever.
You can have the most niche, game that no one played and that may be your game of the year and you can have the most ultra popular game that everyone is playing be the lamest. Exactly what are the parameters that determine game of the year? sales, popularity, publishers, trends, genre.

Id have to agree with you 100% EXCEPT, I DO want to play certain games that each of these companies hold. Id like to play Gears of War (maybe if its better than 3) so that's M$' Xbox, I'd like to Play God of War, Uncharted and Infamous and the Heavy Rains of PlayStation and of course I love the great games of Nintendo AND their third party games that "somehow" no one spoke of this gen, but were there. M$ strategy (if rumors are to be believed) is straight out of the funny farm. Xbox TV for the casual players/Xbox app users and a pricey as f*&k console for the "core" user (which I'm sure will still have an OS that is 98% Ad space)
and SONY will play the waiting game to see what it can copy and try and do best from both Nintendo...
