I don't hate, but I saw this thing in person and I wasn't impressed, that's just me.
For this thing to take off, it would have to be given out for free and every game would have to support it.

But Wonderful 101 was a bust. X is fairy dust and until it is released its a big question mark and Bayonetta 2 is an exclusive with no hope for a sequel AND we don't even know if enough fans of Bayonetta exist to push systems. The name of the game is to sell units.
So far the only games pushing units are Zelda HD and Monster Hunter. Not even Pikmin helped.

They should really stop hyping this thing. Unless they plan on giving this thing out for free, simply by walking through the door and EVERY game supports it. This is yet another cool thing that goes nowhere and Carmack endorsing it means nothing. That guy will endorse a new flavor of Cheetos if it meant more polygon counts.

Gamecube was fun, but it wasn't the best.
What I don't understand is, a lot of the really cool games that made Gamecube cool are on WiiU now and some coming later. So all this love and kisses on Gamecube is nonsense. If you loved those games so much, why aren't you supporting the New Nintedno machine with the same games that made you love it?

When they have dabbled in more mature fair they've been spanked by the hardcore Nintendo fans, and they were dismissed by the Xbox and Sony heads.
I would create some new games, new IP's at this stage in the game. The Wonderful 101 is a good step in that direction but I am not quite sure Nintendo owns the rights to that IP.
