Yeah, cause I was looking for some kind of info on this. I couldn't find any. I did see a playthrough though and the way you get into missions, it stated "best with 4 players" and so on.

Doubtful. The best one was ACIV. From what I saw it looked like certain mission required coop partners. This ruins the AC experience for me unless you can have AI partners.
If you can run your own assassin crew then this is another matter altogether different, but relying on others for your enjoyment, that's pretty insane.
I'm telling you the more I see this game the more I don't get it. For example, what happens if the player didn't press triangle when he was on the floor, does he die, does it change the game in any significant way, what is that by the way? Seems worse than a on rails shooter game, its like a movie with interactive segments and that's worse than QTE games in my opinion.

I don't think so. It wasn't the story that was deep, it was presentation that was unique and in most cases confused lots of players from what I hear on sites like Shacknews and Playfire and Reddit.

No surprise here. Everything the reviewer said, I've been telling my friends. The one thing not mentioned here is the overall feeling of passivity the game has. You are mostly reactive and not pro-active, with 80% of the game done while you walk walk its no surprise.
The thing to take away from this review I think, is that the game is what YOU, make out of it.
