Let me tell you, I love the game and the Raid mode is boss. But to actually get into a game takes forever. You have to press the button like 10 times. You have to OK the compatibility pack, you have to OK the linked accounts, you have to OK that you going into raid mode, you have to OK...so on and so forth...let me tell you. You really gotta love the game, cause it tests your limits right off the bat.

As I posted elsewhere when it releases it will mark the end of the hardware cycle (as it always does) and folks don't like being in on the end. Instead of being one of many great games. Its like Nintendo's last hoorah!
That's being said, Devil's Third will be a cult classic, but if Bayonetta 2 is any indication of potential sales, its not going to do well.
Devils Third has potential to be a cult classic don't know about sales since Nintendo die-hards will probably shun it and the true action heads don't own the WiiU system. Its a tragedy really. Lets just look at how Bayonetta 2 did. Ill buy it, but I am in a very small minority.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has massive potential, but again may suffer as Devil's Third will.

I guess. It was cool until I capped at level 20. Then the grind started and I uninstalled it. Thats not what makes a game fun. Getting rocks, leaves and gas to incrementally and artificially level up your character more. LOL.

BL1 is pretty cool, its not as good as part 2 but in some ways I like it better.
What long cut scenes in Hardline? I was bus playing to notice. Oh and The Order is dope.
What I don't like is all the texture draw in STILL happening. I realize this legacy from Unreal engine 3 but f#$k!

Other companies have found a way, like EA/Bioware with Dragon Age, but Gearbox just stuck it right in the rear of gamers and choose the lazy way out.
I'm not sure who these games are made for. But there getting more confusing than Metal Gear. I have no clue what the general appeal is, but I know they have fans (I use to be one of them when I was 17. I'm 43 now and the stories are bizarre. I find myself squinting at the screen, not cause I cant see (smarta@@) but cause I'm trying to make sense of a lot of the teen drama on display.

"If you are so proud of the 10th anniversary of this IP, and you wish to celebrate with the legion of fans, why are you charging. This should be a thank you from you guys. You know, I read these reviews of the game I realize that although these opinions of the game are just that they seriously hurt what is otherwise a great game.
No game is without blemishes, but the Nightmare edition of a what is for all practical purposes a sub-genre of a sub-genre (very niche game) was given a complete overhaul. By complete we are not only speaking about graphically, but added features that never existed in the base game of the original.

I don't know, to me this series has become more and more R rated. You know for mature gamers. There is a market for this and its a niche audience also. This game caters to that. It is a bonafide, legit fighter, but it also happens to be a fighter that showcases (among other things) scantly clad women fighting.
In fact, I think if it was marketed R or M for mature they could go even more raw. Maybe complete nudity along with ripped clothing and a such.

What they should have done is released a Fire Emblem for the WiiU and sister title (read new, not the same title) for the 3DS.
