I don't know why this trailer has none, but 50 cent music is one of the reasons I'm slightly interested in this game.
The only thing that saves it from being a total piece of crap is that it has the emotion engine in it.
but KZ2 is what it is, and the target render is what it is, which is CG.
The ps3 isn't capable of running a game as good as the target render. That's why the game is almost completely different. About 2 years ago, I heard a developer say that they wouldn't be able to match the target render, but he also said that games would look that good in a few years. It looked like it was running on a direct 10 or 11 machine. It would have been improved before being released. So people need to stop saying that actual KZ2 looks better.
Why would I make that up. Listen to his podcast. He's always defending Microsoft and their business model, and bashing Sony and theirs.
He's keeps saying that bluray isn't anything other than a "convenience" which is just stupid. He also says that downloadable ps3 games don't mean anything which is also stupid. He talks about how people hating on the ps3 and it's games doesn't help the game industry, then he goes and hates on the ps3 and it's games. He flip-flops and hates about everything involving the ps3.
MGS3 is the best all around, metal gear game.
It doesn't have limitless lastability. The sound and presentation deserve like a 9.9, but every thing else is like a 7. What is up with all these reviews saying that the game is perfect? It isn't. Gametrailers has the only good review of MGS4.
linear gameplay, weapons caches, horribe ai, over the shoulder camera views, weak ass cqc, run and gun gameplay, extreme difficulty levels that are extremely easy, unnecessarily huge weapons selection, characters that don't do crap or even need to be in the metal gear universe like Drebin, generic enemies, shooting people into the air using catapults, items falling out of people, hearts floating above people, Ryan Payton ideas like making the game more western or whatever, and loading screens...
What were they thinking?
They are either biased or in denial. I'm getting sick of it. Every episode, Torrence and some other guy act like they don't know what hiphopgamer is talking about.
Hopefully they fix those glitches though.
It would be great if the game comes out next year, because I'm tired of waiting. I would have been happy with an hd version of gt4 (vision gt) if it meant that I wouldn't have to wait 3 years, but next year is good enough.
but I've never received invites for betas. I don't think I've logged on since 06. Maybe that has something to do with it. I never get chosen for anything unless it's something I don't want.
my ps3 just broke. I don't plan on getting it fixed until January.
I guess this is bad news for some people, but I say it's time to move on. Start another ZOE game and mgs5.
I don't care about any of this. Most of it won't happen anyway. Just start MGS5. Seriously.
What I mean is that you go to point A to Point B to find someone. That's about all there is. When you get there, you don't really do anything. There is just another long cut scene. Think about all the stuff you have to do in splinter cell. You don't do any of that.
I've been waiting for way too long.
In a lot of ways, the actual game is better, but it hasn't surpassed the cgi trailer.
